“If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! Hannah and Tanner are lovely, incredibly thoughtful hosts with great communication. They made us feel so welcome and appreciated, and let us know when the volcano was erupting so we made it in time to see it.We loved the outdoor bathroom and being so close to nature. Cute tiny frogs come out at night (remember ear plugs if you're a light sleeper).Great location a few minutes drive from downtown Hilo, yet tucked away in the jungle, peaceful and……

“Great, clean house with 4 bathrooms, great kitchen. Large tables inside and out for a crew. But the property is dated. I acknowledge that upkeep near Hawaii shoreline is a challenge. The pool interior is ready for redo...but kids will not care and easy to monitor from comfortable locations. The pool water was clean since it recycles every day. This is a large, roomy house for group, but HOT bedrooms on main floor, since AC is not centrally located. The dryer vents into the laundry/twin……

“This might be the most relaxing place I’ve ever been. Our first large family vacation (mom, siblings, and our respective families) in a very long time, we weren’t sure how it would be staying in one house together for over a week. 😉The property has so much space and places to just “be” that we never felt crowded. Even better, we were all able to relax and hang out at our leisure, go on day trips to Hilo or National and State parks. There was plenty to do, even if it was tempting not to leave……
