“Excellent hotel ,,good staff,nice breakfast,will be staying again ”

“Friendly at réception desk on arrival. However I was told I'd have to pay an extra £ 20 to check in at noon so we could change for a 1 pm wedding. Overall the hotel is rather sad. Room was large, and bed comfortable, but the decor throughout the hotel needed sprucing up and updating: it looked very corporate 90s with chipping paint, faded and worn carpets. Bathroom had mold around the shower.”

“The staff were very good and very helpful but the hotel needs a major overhaul on the outside and grounds our car was full of birds dropping this morning so it’s had to be cleaned to prevent any paint damage ”

“My room was on the top floor with a private use bathroom across the corridor frommy room. It was a small shower room with toilet. The shower was OK, but not very powerful. I liked the amenities provided. Shower gel etc and a razor pack in the bathroom, coffee and hot chocolate in the bedroom. Wifi was excellent. If I have to put some small gripes, it would be there was nowhere to sit and work. So not ideal for a business stay. It was on the top floor which is quite a hike and there is no lift,……

“The accommodation was very good. To a high standard and the staff where great. The pub uts self was clean tidy and well set out. The staff again where great. A fantastic breakfast and eveni g meal that I had was very good. I would recommend this place.”

“What a little gem, we had a lovely greeting from the host very welcoming, Who showed us to the lovely room,everything was presented beautifully, bed was comfy ,lovely soft pillows and bedding, the breakfast was very good with a variety of fresh fruits, breads ,plenty of choices, lovely guest house ”

“My visit to that specific hotel was it was in close proximity to everywhere I needed to travel during my stay. The hotel staff were indeed very polite and helpful. Bearing in mind that the hotel is located right next to the East Midlands Airport. The hotel food and bar prices were terrific given the quality of the produce and wonderful service. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was spotless. I do intend to return later this year and this hotel will be my first choice as to where to stay. ”
