“Perfect for an overnight stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. Great value in a convenient setting. Huge restaurant on site with good food and helpful staff. Both hotel and restaurant have changed hands recently. Don't let that put you off. Grab yourself a bargain.”

“A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……

“Lovely overnight stay. Cosy bar area and friendly staff. The bar prices were very reasonable and the breakfast hampers were a nice change from a cooked breakfast ”

“Fantastic location nice rooms with good parking The Continental breakfast is very poor, it is best to go out for breakfast. The WiFi internet in the hotel is not very good with filtering for example Amazon app dosent work and Mobile phone coverage in the area is very weak The TVs in the bedroom are very small for this day and age ”

“Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. Highly recommend this place when you’re passing through Shrewsbury UK. Robert ”

“2nd visit to this beautiful boutique hotel. Loved the rooms,food & beautiful gardens with plenty of tables & seating areas. Staff very helpful & friendly. Car park close by you do have to pay however we downloaded app and where able to top up following morning. Very central to everything you need bars restaurants shopping and great walks near by. Would highly recommend ”
