“Went to Starve Rock for weekend, stayed in Peru. 10 mins away. The hotel was in a nice spot close to stores, shopping and resturants. The staff was awesome! They had a cooler of water in lobby that was the BEST i ever had. Free breakfast that was filling from 6am-9am. Easy in and out. Shower had great pressureand pillows were soft..”

“There was an unpleasant odor in the lobby and no air conditioning in the hallway, but the AC in my room worked well. The desk clerk was business-like--don't expect to receive a warm welcome.
