“Sarah’s place was perfect - perfectly located away from the hubbub of touristy Kailua-Kona but certainly close enough (if you have a car) to get anywhere (diving with manta rays anyone?). Her place was beautifully appointed for two adult couple - two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Comfortable living room area with a fancy aquarium set up in the wall unit. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Probably a highlight were the front deck seating area PLUS a back deck seating……

“The sunsets were amazing from this property. I truly enjoyed watching them every night. There were 13 family members staying at the house and there was plenty of room. Being my 60th birthday, my husband and I had the master bedroom. I thought it was fantastic, especially the lanai. Nancy was quick to respond with any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here. ”

“Easily the best VRBO experience we've ever had. The property is super clean and well equipped; the rate is reasonable for Hawaii and less than 10 minutes from shopping in Kona. Steve, the host, could not have been more gracious and helpful.The grounds are like something out of a botanical garden, with a view of the ocean beyond Kona and spectacular sunsets. “This is a wonderful place and Elizabeth is very friendly and helpful. Steps from amazing snorkeling and a short drive to the place of refuge and two step. Easy drive up to Kona for nightlife if you’re interested. Kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are comfortable. Gets hot if there is no breeze but that’s pretty rare and you can always cool off in K Bay!”

“Very nice room for one or two. Bathroom/shower very good! Small fridge and microwave available, which I did not need. Nice little AC to keep humidity to a minimum. I had one issue that needed attention, and owner came and resolved quickly. Nice guy. I would place a small mat outside the entrance for shoes, or at least to avoid stepping on rocks with bare feet as one enters. Also, would be nice to have an extension chord for laptop, or charging phones while using it. Otherwise, I really enjoyed……
