“Overall, a charming property with real character. The room was beautifully decorated, well appointed, and the bed was especially comfortable—perfect for unwinding. The bathroom was clean and modern, with good-quality fixtures, though some of the furniture and smaller fittings (like the towel rail and toilet roll holder) could use a bit of tightening or TLC. “Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened.
