“Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation. “Friendly staff dog friendly can have your dog in the dinning room with you etc Didn’t hear a great deal of noise from downstairs in the pub once we we in our room But Saturday night the noise in the bar was was to much especially when you were trying to eat in dining room and talk with friends. Had to go out and sit in the beer garden to get away from the noise. Good location for what we wanted Easy to check in and out etc Nice size room ”

“We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed for one night. Pros: the Family Room was very large, more like a suite as the kids had their own small room with two beds off the main room. The ‘double’ bed was huge, and the pillows are the comfiest I’ve ever slept on - my husband said it was the best night’s sleep he’s ever had in a hotel!
