“La Carolina is a modern brand name hotel with great views of Quito. The room was spotless and featured wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Parque La Carolina. About a 10-minute walk from the upscale shopping/dining area near Avenida Naciones Unidas or Iñaquito subway station. Breakfast is sumptuous. If you need a taxi from the hotel, ask for Jhon. He's extremely safe and loves to practice his English and is willing to help you practice your Spanish. ”

“We loved our stay here. We had our two teenage sons with us and the room was perfect. The staff was incredible- so helpful and answered all our questions. They called taxis for us, recommended delicious restaurants, and even stayed up for us to arrive nearly in the middle of the night. Each morning they had an amazing breakfast for our family, which was one of our favorite meals of the day. They would do a juice, fresh fruit, granola, and then would make toast or eggs if we wanted it. Safe……

“A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.”

“The hotel grounds are gorgeous. Mountain views with beautiful plants and roaming llamas and peacocks. Breakfast was delicious and the playground fun for kids. The only down side are the beds were very uncomfortable in our room. If you like an extra firm mattress this is the place for you”
