“Alexa and Chris took over New Inn in October 2024 and are doing a great job of making the place somewhere to be proud of. The pub is full of character, serves a wide range of excellent beers, and in Mike has a chef keen to present a few dishes not normally seen on a traditional pub grub menu. My wife and I enjoyed wild mushroom parfait, mushroom risotto with pearl barley, whisky glazed ox heart and sticky toffee parkin, and the quality was top notch! “We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort. Otherwise - would highly recommend! ”
