“This hotel is very underrated, don't listen to any bad reviews, it was very clean and comfortable, staff were very pleasant, theres someone on reception 24/7 so felt safe there as a lone female traveller. “We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed for one night. Pros: the Family Room was very large, more like a suite as the kids had their own small room with two beds off the main room. The ‘double’ bed was huge, and the pillows are the comfiest I’ve ever slept on - my husband said it was the best night’s sleep he’s ever had in a hotel! There’s plenty of parking available, the area feels safe and is very quiet. Only 35mins drive into York (which was the main reason for our stay), but not even half the price of……

“Very honest, pleasant and helpful staff. By mistake I left a backpack with very important personal belongings in the hotel canteen and left. A staff discovered and handed to reception to keep it safely. I drove away from hotel and realized the missing of backpack till 2 hours later. Heartfelt thanks !!!”
