“We had a wonderful stay at The Barrel inn. They were accommodating to our potential late arrival, the room was spotless, cosy and fresh. The amazing view at sunset was stunning and although we were too late to eat dinner there, the breakfast was delicious. We had a brilliant night sleep and great hot showers the following morning. This was a recommendation from a friend and so worth it, we’ll definitely be back. ”

“Das Hotel liegt im Headingley Rugby & Cricket Stadion und ist durch die dortige Schranke erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und mit der kompletten Fensterfront zum Spielfeld ausgerichtet. Leider kann man die Balkontüre nicht öffnen und es gibt keine Klimaanlage, was es im Zimmer sehr heiß macht. Im Bad gibt es keine Ablagefläche, die Dusche ist groß und gut. “We had to have our kettle changed because the kettle was unsafe and not carrying a safety compliance certificate,the replacement kettle had a safety certificate on it but did not turn off when up to temperature.”

“Just a couple of minor niggles, which did not really detract from the overall impression of a great place to stay in Hebden Bridge. Our room was spacious and comfortable but had a broken lamp shade and a loose leg on the dressing table stool both of which should be easy fixes. The bathroom was lovely and the free standing bath a bonus but the addition of a shelf near the sink or hook on the back of the door would be useful, as there was nowhere to put toiletry bags other than the top of the……

“After I accidentally left the hotel key in my room, I was locked out when I arrived back after 11pm. Fortunately there was a number on door, and after calling I was back in the room within a few minutes without any hassle. It was much appreciated. ”
