The drive through Connemara to get there was unforgettable, and once we arrived we were great with a small village right on the sea. We misread the arrival instructions, so we only gave John a 30-minute warning but he was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was free and just alongside the B&B. “The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!”

“Friendly staff, clean hotel in a neat area with good views from our room. Food at the bar was very good as well with nice patio seating that overlooks the bay.”

“This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. “We were a family of 4 visiting friends in Mulranny. Curragh Hill is a beautiful home. Beautiful linens and towels, kitchen well equipped. Very comfortable. Stunning views from the lounge where we saw dolphins on our last evening. Weather was kind enough to use the sun loungers and use the patio set. We met Bella and she was very helpful.Would stay again and would recommend ”
