“The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave suggestions of places to see and go eat. The hotel is historic, so it’s old, but for its age, it’s in good condition and clean, but there’s an odd smell. If you are sensitive to smells, I am, it may give you a headache. “I had never stayed at this particular hotel but I would definitely stay again. The property was well maintained, rooms were clean, breakfast offerings were very good, bed was comfortable. Other than wishing there were more hooks or towel racks in the bathroom, there is nothing I would say needs improvement”
