“Melia was a beautiful hotel with a very cosy room. The room was modern designed, private and was very comfortable. It offered the perfect solo retreat for me. A few observations, the level had signs that said adults only yet saw alot of children playing around the pool and breakfast there. 2ndly i think the front desk lady has to educate guests about the advantages of the level properly and not only the map of the premises. I felt like i missed out on a few priviledges the level offered that i……

“We had a lovely stay at Kena beach hotel for 13 nights. Rooms was very spacious. Beds were comfortable and equipped with moskito net. Every evening the rooms are sprayed with bug spray. Little terasse outside with a rack to dry swimwear or other small things. All staff was super friendly and nice. Pool is covered with roof so it was not getting too hot, the sea was always very warm. There is also sun loungers and sofas both in sun and shade. We decided to take all-inclusive, which was fine, but……

“Me and my friend had an excellent stay for 3 nights. Perfect villa with pool view but quiet and private. The property i stunning. An hidden oasis! Great big pool. Perfect service, tasty food and drinks. And as a surprise they arranged poolside dinner for everyone one night and the cinema at the beach another night. We loved it! Perfect getaway from our busy lives! Not the best place for a swin in the ocean - it is posdible - and the hotel also provided free car transport to a better beach……

“Bodde 4 dager i Deluxerom. Litt hard seng, men romslig nye rom, stort bad med dusj. Svømmebassenget rett utfor døren var flott og rent. Frukost var den beste på vår ferietur i 3 veker på Zanzibar. Ikke middag på hotellet, men beachrestauranten ved stranda, server Antares også. Kort spasertur på 3 minutter til stranda, der solstoler/parasoller var reservert for oss hele dagen. ”

“Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. There are too many more quiet but equally convenient boutique hotels in Stonetown but since we had already paid so we could not change hotel. DONT TRUST THE COMMENTS ANY MORE FROM HOTELS.COM! (P.S. “Fantastiskt fint hotellkomplex precis vid den långa vita stranden, två jätte fräscha poolområden och en restaurang som serverade jättegod mat, både till frukost lunch och middag. Frukost menyn var kanon., kan varmt rekommendera avokado toasten. Otroligt gästvänlig personal, kom gärna tillbaka. ”

“Beach was attended to each day in front of the property,but everything to the left and right had a lot of trash.The description of the property on Expedia was misleading,They failed to mention the two properties are about a 100 yards apart.The rooms were misrepresented,one property is actually called the Beach Lounge which is the newer of the two properties.”

“Top notch, wonderful experience! Grounds are gorgeous and creative! Everyone there is helpful and friendly. Loved the room and the fact it had an outdoor shower! Food was delish and fresh. I could go on and on! My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!”
