“Really happy with our choice! The whole area was very beautiful, filled with palmtrees and colorful flowers. Breakfast was always really good, while the lunch and dinner could vary a bit, but mostly good - and a whole lot better than all the other food we had in Tanzania. The employees were friendly and helpful. We fully recommend the Mnemba tour - go early in the morning (!) and the extra money is well spent as it ensures you get the away from other tourists. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. ”

“I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled……

“Our time at Zanziblue was idyllic. The beach out front was quiet and clean. We really loved how the whole property was calm and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was excellent! A great variety on the menu. Lots of fresh fish options but also great comfort food. The bar had fantastic, fun cocktails and great mocktails and smoothies. They also figured out how to make me a rooibos latte. At high tide the waves come right up to the property and then at low tide a guide can take you out to look at……
