“We are a retired couple from Australia cycling the world on bicycles. This hotel was simply amazing! The staff so welcoming, the room had the best view ever being right on the beach, the food and service was top notch. And the price was very affordable. “Our stay at the AVO Boutique Hotel in Uroa, Zanzibar, was a truly wonderful experience. We traveled as a family of three and stayed in the spacious Studio 6. “Property was well maintained.We came in June during slow season it was very quiet and relaxing.We had the 3b 2b villa.Management is awesome and helped with any issues we had for example hot water.There was a switch that we had to flip in order to turn the hot water on.Besides that we definitely would recommend staying at Mooshine. Torti the security guard is phenomenal.Regardless the time of day he will assist you. ”

“This resort is pure luxury, all of the staff was amazing. Extremely clean & the room service was top tier , they clean your room multiple times out the day . There dinner restaurants gives very romantic vibes with entertainment. You really don’t have to leave the resort . They kept there beach extremely clean, there pool was amazing, delicious food & once again the service was number 1 ! Definitely 10/10”

“The experience was quite bad as the manager Juma intentionally showed a better and bigger room with giving us a single bed room mentioned that’s standard room we booked (which we booked a double room) and asked us to pay more for change. 2 of us changed and saw Juma directly put the money in his own pocket. The feeling is awful. In addition to that, the towel wasn’t change at all as I can find the same stain for 2 days. The housekeeper then changed after I asked. The only benefit is near……

“We had a great stay in this historical building. The room (especially the sheets) were clean, the building was amazing (make sure to check out the view from the roof), we enjoyed the breakfast, and the staff were great (and available 24/7). A great place to stay in Stone Town.”
