“I'll start with my top dislike, which is the room switch they decided without telling me or giving me the option to cancel my reservation. My husband has a knee injury so climbing stairs to the second floor was painful, but he accepted it. This B&B only has a small number of rooms to begin with and I liked only one room on the ground level, so i reserved it over a month ago. I was greeting pleasantly, the place was clean, no bad smells, and the breakfast was good. The themed room I was given……

“Great location especially if staying for a concert at the T-Mobile arena, didn’t like our room location. First floor by the elevator in which you hear everytime it’s being used. Our room didn’t have a window which was very unusual. Felt confined. Shower door didn’t stay closed while using. ”

“The hotel needs updated. When you get off the elevator, you can smell mildew. The bathrooms definitely need updating. For the price you pay could be nicer. But the rooms were clean and the service was excellent. We’d stay there again. ”

“We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown by IHG for a quick one-night trip, and I can confidently say this hotel made our entire weekend feel like a luxury getaway wrapped in kindness and convenience! “Stayed one night. Staff were great. Fantastic breakfast. Lobby and breakfast area nice. Room was kind of old musty smelling. Older room for sure. Small. Bed was good. Elevator out on check out which was a huge pain with mobility struggles for my husband and all our stuff. Everyone going up and down stairs at same time. Too expensive for sure but you’re paying for downtown KC. ”
