“Loved this little beach cottage. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Great location. We were there for UVM graduation and it was 15 min away from just about everywhere we wanted to be! Beds were really comfy. Only thing is the bathroom and shower are tiny - so if you are a larger human, this might be an issue. Otherwise loved it.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Highland Cottage. The check in process could not have been easier, we were greeted to such a clean space with homemade cookies waiting for us. The cottage does so much with the space, it felt so comfortable! It was incredibly well stocked with a full spice rack, pots, pans, butter, extra bedding, games. Everything you could want and more. “We had a wonderful getaway at the Keene Cozy Cottage. It is in a fantastic location in the Lake Placid region. We spent all of our time hiking and biking in the Wilmington area, which was easy to get to. But Lake Placid or the High Peaks are also close, if that’s why you’re staying. The cabin was charming. It was very well stocked with so many little conveniences. There were several times we said, “oh, we wish we brought X,” and there it was in one of the drawers. The cabin was also very well……

“Enjoyed are stay at the camp. The outside flowers, bird feeders and deck were peaceful. Had fun watching the birds feed and the chipmunks and squirrels trying to get to the feeders.Our property manager/owner was very good at communicating with us.The only detriment was the beach. Due to the spring thaw and flooding there was numerous amount of driftwood in the sand near shore; which made it difficult for wading. I was told by a couple of locals this was due to the rivers that flow into the lake.……

“The cottage was just as described with the added bonus of a full kitchen albeit with out a dishwasher. The bagel toaster more than made up for that! We were here for a family wedding and it was great to come back to the lake for the peace and quiet!”

“The cottage was exactly as advertised - clean and tidy, nicely decorated, right on the lake, with small but functional kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, good AC, plenty of extra linens and towels and a beautiful view of the bay and marina. As others have mentioned, the property sits on a busy road, but because it is set back down a slope and partially fenced, feels quiet and safe.
