As the listing says, there is noise from the trains, but earplugs were provided and it didn’t stop any of us from sleeping well. “My large group of friends and I all went to college at Winona and wanted to revisit. We found Port 19 and knew it would be perfect. The location is amazing we were able to walk to a lot of the local bars on nights out and had the backyard space for bags and grilling out. “This place was so inspiring! I was on a solo trip to paint. This place is full of artwork! The porch is full of light. Check in and out was easy. Linda was quick to respond to anything I needed. This place and town are truly a gem! ”

“We loved the property - we were a little nervous about being noisy but ended up not having neighbors in downstairs. We walked all over Lake City and the weather was wonderful even though it rained on our way out. A/C worked perfectly, beds were very comfy. It was myself, my 15 year old son and his friend. We did a day of fishing with a guide on Lake Pepin and caught a trophy walleye on top of hitting our limit. We bowled at the small bowling alley in town and hit the farmers market and grocery……

"Staying at the Alexander Mansion felt like stepping back in time to an era of elegance and warmth. Every piece of furniture and every lamp tells a story—but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the 80-something host, a former chef, who graciously prepared a beautiful and heartfelt breakfast ceremony for us. His kindness and attention to detail gave our journey a sense of home and heartfelt care. Thank you for not only providing a charming place to stay, but for making every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cherished. This will remain one of the warmest memories of my travels.
