“David and his family were the perfectHosts. The home was clean and very spacious for our group. The boys enjoyed the back yard and sitting on the porch counting horses. Host was very responsive to questions. Our family was fortunate enough to visit their farm. Spent about an hour getting to know them. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet the wife/Mother but their children were amazing and friendly. Hopefully next time! The boys left feeling like they had a new friend. We will definitely check……

“What a lovely place to stay! We loved the setting on a farm, and awakening each morning to birdsongs. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, and spotlessly clean! “We were visiting our daughter at school and getting her moved out for the summer. We were looking for a place we could relax in, cook our meals, be near Swat, and be able to jump out to Philly as well as visit family in the area. Russ’s property was ideal. We had room for all, the listing is accurate. We had a little trouble with the WiFi but Russ had it sorted without problem. We’ll definitely return!”

“Cannot say enough good things about our stay. This place truly is like having your own private, peaceful retreat in the middle of the woods. Incredibly clean, with every amenity you could need and then some (my partner loved the mini make up remover packets). The photos online, as beautiful as they are, do not do it justice. Bed was very comfortable, and having a washer/dryer in the unit is a nice perk. The air conditioning was very quiet and kept the place incredibly cool which was needed……

“This was a comfortable place to stay overnight in Wilmington, an easy drive to downtown and back, off-street parking, and a simple check-in, all for a reasonable price. The kitchen floor could have been cleaner, but it wasn't a big deal because we weren't in the kitchen a lot. I let the host know and they said they would work to improve it.”

“Although this cabin is situated in the middle of a working Amish community, the experience was invigorating, yet utterly relaxing. The hosts were cordial and definitely accommodating. In addition, the cabin was completely cozy and easily accessible. Although the separate shower/bathroom was a mild inconvenience, it did not detract from the overall experience. The babbling brook behind the cabin was very refreshing and soothing. This is a great hidden find.”
