“Great room. Excellent food.”

“Our stay was wonderful, probably the best B&B my wife have stayed in. It was comfortable, beautifully designed and spacious. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The views were stupendous, of course the almost tropical weather helped. Breakfast was just what we expected from a Yorkshire B&B. We cannot speak too highly of Throstle Nest Farm. “We stayed at the Golden Lion with friends as we were walking the 3 peaks on the Friday, we both stayed in a classic room, the rooms were lovely, comfy bed, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, tea and coffee and bottled water, don't forget to ask for milk before bed. We ate in the restaurant both nights, the food was lovely and we had great service. We had asked for breakfast the morning of our walk as we had to leave at half 6, unfortunately they forgot to leave out any bread or bowls for……

“Great stay at the green dragon inn. Its a really old pub so if you are into modern, this will not suit you. The staff are brilliant. Food was good. The room was fantastic, better than we expected. Crisp white linens on the bed, fab pillows and duvet. Great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this place.”

“We arrived a little late but had already been contacted as to whether we needed an evening meal and were given a time. Meal was ok. After the meal there was a power cut in the village. The Pub quickly found the cause of the power cut, how long it would last etc and provided us with a strong torch. We had to leave before breakfast the next day but were offered and given a packed lunch in lieu of breakfast which was great.”

“The stag were extremely welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was a very good size with a modern en-suite bathroom. The evening meal menu had a varied selection for all tastes and the quality of food was excellent, being very well cooked and presented. Breakfast was high quality local produce with a large serving. Overall we had a fantastic stay and great nights sleep with a large high quality mattress and comfortable pillows. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue and we would……
