“I was staying in the local area as part of a Glasgow-Edinburgh Canal walking holiday. The hotel is about a mile or so from the towpath, but is well signposted and there is a footpath alongside the B road near the hotel. My room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I particularly liked the bar and restaurant, which was had a great vibe and the food was lovely. Thanks!”

“Basic pub/hotel with comfortable bed, great shower and basic self service breakfast, dinner in the bar was fine and reasonably priced. Plenty of on street parking and near two pay and display car park. Good value for money ”
