“Nice room at a fair price. Some noise from the restaurant located above us late at night and early in the morning. Had dinner in the restaurant and food was good but service a bit confused with starters and amuse bouche arriving at the same time. Drinks at the bar before dinner were well served. “Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. ”

“Located in a quiet corner but within minutes of walk to the station and attractions. May need some little time to locate at first as the location is not really very touristy. The owners of the guesthouse are very enthusiastic and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very nice. Excellent experience.”

“We had to have our kettle changed because the kettle was unsafe and not carrying a safety compliance certificate,the replacement kettle had a safety certificate on it but did not turn off when up to temperature.”

“Das Hotel liegt im Headingley Rugby & Cricket Stadion und ist durch die dortige Schranke erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und mit der kompletten Fensterfront zum Spielfeld ausgerichtet. Leider kann man die Balkontüre nicht öffnen und es gibt keine Klimaanlage, was es im Zimmer sehr heiß macht. Im Bad gibt es keine Ablagefläche, die Dusche ist groß und gut. Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht, etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber alle Beschäftigten sind super nett und bemüht. In 10 min. Laufnähe……

“Great welcome and communication by the people running the house, its tucked away in a quiet place with locked and safe parking behind a gate. Rooms were very clean and comfy but I didn't have any food which was kindly on offer so can't comment on that. Very friendly welcome.”

“Great hotel in the very centre of Leeds. Lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Great base for shopping. 10-15 minute walk to First Direct Arena. Lady on the front desk who checked us in was lovely. Standard room was a great size and had everything required. Very clean. Breakfast was good quality with a wide choice to suit everyone. Gentleman who seated us for breakfast was curt and boarder-line unpleasant. ”

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”
