“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“Me and my partner stayed there for a few nights with our dog and we had a good time. The staff are really friendly and welcoming! The food at the grill on the hill was great. We really enjoyed going to the pool and jacuzzi during our stay, it was very well kept. The only downside was that the bed wasn’t very comfortable.”

“We had the best stay for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The hotel went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. It was our first anniversary since we became parents and the hotel were amazing with our baby girl. The room was perfect and so child friendly. The hotel provided a cot bed and also had a tepee play area for our little one to enjoy. We are at the pearly cow restaurant next to the hotel and it was great food and service too. Thank you for an amazing stay to all the fantastic staff at……

“Lovely hotel in nice surroundings. Bedroom spacious and clean. Breakfast lovely and meal in adjoining pub very good and pleasant to sit and have a drink. All staff very pleasant. Didn't use spa facilities but available if wanted. Goid value for York area. Would recommend a stay at The Parsonage.”
