“Was a lovely, cosy cabin. The beds very comfortable, everything was clean. Beautiful location!”

“I stayed here for a 2 day conference in Boat of Garten and was within a 5 minute walk of the venue. Great comms from the hosts and place was perfectly presented and very comfortable; you might want to place another comment book in there as the existing one is full although it was fun reading through people's thoughts and and suggestions and you have clearly followed up on these. If i'm back this way, it would be the first place i book. Thanks Again. Breakfast options were a nice touch, thankyou……

“If I could give the "staff" more than five stars, I would. Anni is the owner and she is very welcoming, as well as funny and kind. The property is very cozy and secluded. I spent almost my entire stay stuck in bed with a cold, but my family tells me the local area and restaurants are great.”

“Warm welcome from the host Mark who provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had all we needed. Our only issue was that the room was small and there was limited space for our suitcases. Breakfast was spot on! Good quality food served to the table. Good value for money. ”

“First time in this lodge apartment but many visits to Aviemore. Clean and first rate inside. Had a full size Christmas tree setup which just added to festive feel. Easy access to town and Rothimercus. ”

“Really good base for what we wanted to do and see in the cairngorms. Basic but comfy place and staff were great. Breakfast wasn’t 100% but very much worth the £10 charge. Parking was really easy and the local area fab too. ”

“The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay.”

This wasn’t our first time staying here and it was just as expected, it is our forever home whenever visiting Aviemore what more is there to say other than just get yourself booked in if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Aviemore. ”

“Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm.”
