“Wish we'd had longer to make the most of the lovely kitchen - really comfortable accommodation - would hope to go back again.”

“The property is good in general, a good place for chilling and relaxing. However, the lady in the reception’s attitude is bad to me. She arranged the room to me which is too far away which poor (almost nothing) WiFi access, and she said I have to find the router by myself and reset it (which I don’t think it’s my responsibility to do so). Also the room has no laundry bag and she insisted there is one in the cabinet. One of the lamp was not workable in the room too. Eventually I insisted I do not……

“A perfect stay - friendly welcoming staff, well equipped room with hugh fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Amazing dinner menu at affordable prices, good breakfast selection. The hotel is updated, the grounds are immaculate. Decor in the dining area an bars is bright, modern and comfortable. Internet had a few hiccups, and desk in room was a little small but, aside from this we would return in a heartbeat.”

“The Bull Hotel proved to be a great choice for a quick stopover in Peterborough (7 minute walk from the train station). It’s an older hotel but has lots of charm. I’d recommend it for a short stay. A surprisingly good price was an extra bonus ! ”

“Hotels.com didn’t make me aware that the hotel was closed, the owners of the hotel were not expecting guests, as they were refurbishing the hotel, fortunately the hotel owners were great and arranged a room for me to stay. The hotel is in a good location to explore Rutland Water, I would be happy to stay again but wouldn’t book through Hotels.com”

“Comfy accommodation for one night although there was some noise from the upstairs room and the check in process was a bit confusing.”

“The hotel was a good base for the surrounding area. It was very clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. I've given it 4 stars on facilities because our room was quite small and didn't have a lot of room to manoevre around. Also we didn't realise when we booked that the pub didn't do food on the Sunday or Monday evenings and the bar closed early too. Overall a pleasant stay.”

“This is a perfect hotel. Everything is perfect. Loved the decor, staff, food melts in your mouth. And the housekeepers are amazing, in particular as most of the walks you will take in the area leave you covered in mud. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is impeccable.”

“Delightful annex with separate sitting room. Lovely breakfast left for us to enjoy independently. Would have been nice to have a later check-out time to have longer to enjoy the breakfast!”
