“Perfect location right near the quay but still quiet at night, even with the pub next door- couldn't hear a thing even though they had live music. Great bathroom lighting for doing your makeup - something many places don't have. (It's often like doing your makeup in a coal mine!) plug sockets at both sides of the bed `(three pin and USB!) Bed very comfortable and a fan for if you're too hot. Decent sized mini fridge as well. Host Jenny was very helpful, and there is a dossier in the room with……

“Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”

“It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!”

“A very warm welcome and a lovely room. Bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep. A short walk to the beach and pier, and also not too far to the town centre. My only negative was the bathroom is tiny. I would definitely consider staying here again.”
