“If you are looking for fancy, this is not that, but it was very clean and comfortable with a full kitchen and bath. Neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and safe. It is an above the garage apartment with a full size bed bunk bed and large tv with plenty of app choices. It fit my needs very well and the back yard below was well kept with a peaceful vibe. If i had one complaint, it doesn't have a sofa nor a comfy chair. I had one question I sent the owner by message, and he called right away……

“You can tell that they are really trying to put work into this property. They have brand new appliances, brand new TVs, and it was fairly clean. It is not in the best neighborhood, however, it is really close and convenient to the highway, shopping, and fast food. Give it was a hotel rating, it would probably be a 3 star hotel. Communication = SUPERB. instructions for check and checkout were also great.”

“We originally booked the property in the picture but the host contacted us to say it wasn’t available & sent us another booking we just agreed instead of rebooking BIG MISTAKE.. the parking in on the street we thought it was in the gate, the place was nice but most of the lights didn’t work inside. The water would run brown every time we went to shower we had to let it run awhile then the water never got really hot just warm. The tv in the bedroom did not work at all we hot batteries for it……

“Although this property is cute and in walking distance to many great things, this is what didn't work: Traffic noise is very loud. Also, it is in a 4 plex and we could often hear others. Furniture was ok as far as comfort - not great, kinda cheap. No headboard for the bed. No curtains, and light came in through blinds 24/7. Bathroom sink is so small you can't wash your face. Short fridge, but the top of it had not been cleaned off, nor the placematts. The dryer was unusable, although they did……

“Tim’s apartment was great. He was very easy to communicate with and he helped me with the garage. Felt very safe to be able to use the garage while on a work trip. The apartment was nice and the window shades did a great job at blocking sunlight, but also were easy to adjust to get more light in but maintain privacy. There’s a ton of storage in the apartment. This was a great location in Houston Heights, since the green belt and HEB bookend the block. ”

“Just the right amount of space as a solo traveler working remotely. Great location with quick access to highway made it easy getting around. Streaming services and WiFi were easy to use/connect. There was somewhat of an odor (musty, maybe vape smell?) when I arrived so I bought my own air fresheners which seemed to help. And while I appreciate new linens, the sheets and towels did seem to shed lint all over my clothes. In general no frills, felt safe, just wished it was a bit cleaner/tidier.”
