“Room is in the morden style but is large enough to put 2 luggages. Have hot water available in the room which you dont need to boil water for hot tea. There are a few hot spring available and all of them are quite spacious and with view. You can enjoy the subrise or sunset if you have hotspring on the top floor. There is shuttle bus pick up from JR to the hotel.”

“Excellent stay here! Specially the service from two gentlemen at front desk, they were being helpful and tried to book cab for us (finding cab is headache in Kyoto!), Also they were able to speak English! The hotel is clean generally, you get a free little complimentary snack box daily if you chose no house keeping service during your stay. Very convenient location from hotel to Gion Shijo where u get all the shopping & food and also easy to walk to Kiyomizu-Dera temple (10 mins walk)! Lovely……

“Stayed 1 night at Nara Ryokan. Generally we had a good time but there were a few issues that took away from the experience slightly (hence 4 stars instead of 5). Pros were: - Private onsen was really lovely after a long day of walking - Room itself was quite spacious and 'felt' like a real Ryokan (although it's more of an approximation of a Ryokan than a real one) - Beds were large and mattresses relatively comfortable Cons: - Maybe this is a normal feature of a Ryokan, but there were no……

“雖然是傳統日式飯店，服務好、地理位置佳。房間大尤其是晚餐很好吃。連續住2天彩色都不一樣。很棒的住房經驗”

“自行開車前往有馬溫泉拉著行李走到旅館可能須走一陣子，因為旅館位於溫泉街中心處。到了旅館附近遍尋不著該在哪辦理入住手續，花了幾分鐘找路人詢問（當地人英文普遍不能溝通）才找到辦理入住手續的本館上大坊。別館的房間剛重新裝潢沒多久，整體感覺很新很乾淨，樓下與附近很多文創小店、啤酒咖啡館與小吃，離金湯更是幾步路腳程。旅館主人雖然不諳英文但接待過程很用心，甚至幫我們提一件大行李至二樓，退房時也送了我們伴手明信片。整個旅館美中不足的缺點應該是本館的溫泉，建議能不去就別去，溫泉位於地下室充滿濕氣與霉味，非常陳舊與骯髒，地面溼滑黏膩，其中一個池子還佈滿青苔⋯⋯”

“It is an old-fashioned Japanese style hotel. The staff were very nice and the room was spacious for 4 tatami beds. The breakfast was Japanese style. It was delicious and unlike the buffet style, it was a set prepared for each of us. So it was hot and delicious. Each night when we returned to hotel, the staff had already prepared hot water for us so that we can have tea in our room. And there was a little hot spring and the basement of the hotel. We had a great time there.”

“Lovely bed-and-breakfast inn, with owner staying at one of the units. Convenient location from the main shopping & restaurant area, and also walkable to subway. Hard to hail taxi outside of the hotel when we need to go to the airport. So the hotel calls taxi for us. We waited for about 10 min before the taxi came, which is ok. The room has tatami floor, which is one of the reasons we chose this inn. Room was warm at night, with a temperature control inside the room that we can adjust &……
