“Comfortable and clean and friendly. A bit spartan. Very good restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Listed under Skye but on the mainland side of the ferry. Economical way to be close enough to Skye to spend a day and local walking is enjoyable.”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
