“Great views of the harbour from room 1. The room was small but adequate. The whole hotel is tired. Black mould around the shower base and tiles. Appeared to offer a good selection of gluten free for my wife, but after I ordered the scallops my wife's linguine pasta came with gluten, staff realised before she ate it. So they offered to go to the Co-op and get some, meanwhile my scallops were dry and they should have taken both dishes away and remade them. She opted for scallops with no black……

“I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. I loved the Kames and I seriously recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. That……
