“Present stay at the hotel ”

“The hotel was beautiful and full of historic charm. The on-site Wild Fern restaurant had delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. My only "negative" was that both Apple Maps and Google maps struggled to map directions to the property--they both routed us through the hospital drive which is closed to through traffic. Not the hotel's fault, just a heads up to other travelers.”

“location wise, It's not exactly at the waterfront area, however, it's still well connect with the most pleasant area in Cape Town. I think the complimentary shuttle boat make the difference. We had a mountain view double room, which is quite amazing. We can see the table mountain directly from our window. The parking is quite nice, however, there's an extra fee on it. The stuffs are nice, still lack of experience. In general, I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit the city again.”

“The room is very small. No space for two open suitcases. Bathroom akward with swinging door that stops at toilet. Lots of hot water. I dont like restaurants with a set price regardless of whether you want buffet or a la carte. Distance to wharf is longer than we expected. Absolutely no view.”

“Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape……

“This apart-hotel is very nice. Good location if your business is in the city. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Every request was met efficiently and with a smile, which goes a long way into making a hotel a good one. There was construction right next door so it was noisy very early in the morning. I don’t think I can fault the hotel for this though since it doesn’t have control over it and it will hopefully be for limited time. Just a heads up for……
