“Stayed at the cottage over Valentine’s weekend - we are so happy to have found this place!2 adults, 1 tween and a puppers fit perfectly. Plenty of room for us, luggage, ski equiptment etc.Top floor is one bedroom (king). Bed 10/10.They do have a cot and the downstairs couch is a pull-out. You could easily fit an air mattress on the floor in bedroom too. Full bath upstairs with 10/10 shower.Kitchen counter is small and has basic utensils (think efficiency apartment style) but worked just fine……

“We were up to visit our son for his first parents’ weekend as a Paul Smith’s student. Bob and Sheila were fantastic! “Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. “Come to find out, that the Owners had closed their Vrbo account a few years prior. I showed up with the confirmation on Vrbo. The Owners were VERY GRACIOUS and accommodating. They immediately came down and cleaned and refreshed a camp that was not finished for me to stay in. “Property is just as described. Was in a perfect location between Whiteface and Lake Placid. My boyfriend and son loved being able to fish right behind the house (trail is steep but well marked). The hot tub was amazing! The little supermarket is definitely little so if you’re arriving later at night I would recommend brining any food stuff you may need for the next morning with you (coffee!). Wonderful weekend would definitely stay again!”

“This is a tiny bare bones cabin. Hardly room for a couple. No stove or place to cook. There was microwave and sink. The bed was large but mattress sagged in middle. The drawers were hard to open and close. No one on premises to greet you; access entirely on internet, but internet and phone connection spotty. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake.
