“The location is excellent - right in the middle of downtown. There is charm in the historical nature of the place but it feels a little like sleeping at your great grandmother's house. I feel like you could keep the charm but update the decor, linens (towels, curtain, bedding) and bath products. to make it feel more like your treating yourself to a special night away.”

“There are actually so many nice things to say about this place. The host is super kind and always available. The place is beautifully decorated with everything you might need even an iron hair dryer. I am very sensitive to scented items and there are no harsh chemicals or scents. Even the soaps and lotions she provides are not overly scented. I was surprised to learn there was a cleaning fee but it’s only $25 which seems fair. Your stay here will inspire you to consider building your own tiny……

“Our stay was awesome and staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and requests. However, our room was not cleaned/made throughout our stay. We came back at night from walking the downtonwn district and our bed was intact. ”

It was easy to walk to Main Street for dinner and shopping and right near the park where Cycle Mount Dora takes place. Gwendolyn was a wonderful hostess always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay. ”

“The place was nicely decorated, great kitchen. Only 5 places to sit but we had 2 staying and 2 visitors so it was ok. Back yard is pretty small but good enough although the sofa is in front of the back door, so some maneuvering was required.”
