“The cottage was excellent but the stress leading up to the check in was horrendous. I booked this on 21st or 23rd dec and had been asking for check in details of the property all the way up to the date of checkin. I only received the checkin details at 10am on the day of checkin. “Not what we expected. Mould was the main issue. Lack of ventilation has led to mould patches in all areas. Strong musty smell in the living room didn’t make for an enjoyable stay. We spent the first two hours cleaning mould off the walls and skirting boards to try and improve the smell. Surprisingly, there was a large patch behind the bed in the main bedroom.
