“This house was everything we needed for our trip to Topeka! A group of us traveled from IL to Topeka to see a friend from high school and her family. Kings Cottage was only 5 mins away from her house and was so convenient for the weekend! The game room in the basement and the man cave in the garage were added features that the kids loved! House was equipped with everything we needed and was clean. Neighbor hood was a little run down but that didn’t stop us from having a great time! Owner was……

“We had a wonderful time plenty of space and lots of stuff to do. All four couples had their own space. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. The only things that I would recommend is for the owners to get some new pots and pans. The front door is very very hard to get in, the house is set at 75 when we walked in which is wayyy to hot for these summer months and it took a few hours to cool it down and they need a few more fans in the house for super hot days. But there is a dollar……

Having the address, door code and parking information made for a smooth arrival for all of us coming from different locations. The house has large bedrooms so everyone could spread out in their own space and come together in the living room to share meals and laughs. We were visiting family on opposite sides of Topeka so the central location of this home made for quick access to get……

“Great location! Convenient to downtown and all of Lawrence. I used to live downtown so I know about the trains. Yes you can hear them as it clearly states in the description. We actually liked the rumble of the trains after the horns. Home is great with everything anyone could need. Great courtyard that I imagine in the spring is bloomed and beautiful. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. If trains bother you don’t stay here but if you know Lawrence you know this is a great……
