“The house is really well-stocked and in a good location (easy travel times to Lake Leelanau, Traverse City, Glen Arbor, etc.). The dock for the lake is really nice and the lake itself is lovely to splash around in (not too muddy and the shallow part is extensive). ”

“A beautiful house and location. As other reviews state- the online pictures of the view are not even close to how beautiful it is in person. The log cabin feel is what you want in the woods but this one is without the log cabin creepiness- it has high end fixings and appliances, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, wonderful and well maintained hot tub. We had three generations staying here and it worked very well. I’ve stayed at a lot of Vrbo’s over the years and I have to say this one……

“Stayed at Paradesia for three nights on a guys’ getaway (reunion of high school friends). Only three of us, but more would have been easily comfortable. The rental has the feel of a classic National Park lodge — the Old Faithful Inn or Crater Lake Lodge — though completely updated (and much smaller, of course). Call it a mini NP lodge. My favorite feature was the fabulous view of the cove, with anchored white sailboats catching the sunlight. A second favorite was the beautifully tiled walk-in……

“We liked the up north feel of the log cabin experience. A comfortably cooled vaulted ceiling living room. A beautiful view on the back 4 seasons room. Lake leelenau is great for our little hobie. There are not a lot of boats out on that gorgeous lake and plenty of wind and water. It is less than 2 minute drive to bel lago which is one of the best wineries on the peninsula. Cedar is a great resource. the coffee shop and the market in particular. so many goodies. we hope to come back……

“This house had it all for a large group. It is a beautiful house with a great setup: Beautiful private sand beach, kayaks and life jackets, lawn for yard games and several large tables for dining (inside and out). We couldn’t have asked for more. ”
