“This was probably our 5th or 6th stay at The Craven Heifer but the first since it changed hands from being a family run establishment to being part of a large chain. As always the property was very clean and tidy and very well maintained, definitely no complaints there. For us, the food had always been a selling point of The Craven Heifer, fresh locally sourced produce freshly cooked however on this occasion we did not have an opportunity to experience an evening meal but we did enjoy breakfast……

“We have stayed at the old stone trough a few times now and what makes it such a pleasurable stay is the staff, you recieve such a welcomming friendly approach at all times. Staff are helpful and accomodating so polite and friendly. The rooms are always clean and layed out nicely Overall just a great place to stay.”
