“it is really nice hotel, staff are nice, food also good.”

“The hotel is in a lovely position in Lincoln, very close to the castle and Cathedral. A few dining options close by too. The hotel offers free parking, unfortunately it is not clear when booking that this has to be pre booked as space is very limited.We had to park in the Westfield car park which was an added expense we were not aware of until we were checking in. Also the car park fills up very quickly and is a 7 minute walk from the hotel. ”

“This Hotel is a an absolute treasure that combines relaxing comfort with professionalism. We received a warm welcome at reception, the rooms were stylishly decorated but homely and the overall layout of the guest areas made for an experience that was simultaneously classy but intimate. We had breakfast and dinner on both of the days of our stay and were impressed by the breadth and flexibility of the menus available and the high quality of the food and wine menu. All in all an excellent stay ”

“We have stayed at the Petwood Hotel before, in order to join a friends party. We loved it so much that I treated us to a room overlooking the garden. It was well worth the extra money, as there was a raised area with a lovely table overlooking the gardens as well as the huge size of the room itself. The history and atmospheric quality of the hotel is superb and the local area is fabulous, especially for walks or cycling. Treat yourself to Sunday lunch if you can as a fabulous pianist called……

“We didn’t stay - after a 350 mile drive we arrived to find it very firmly closed. Ironic you send this questionnaire after your reservations person (based, unhelpful,y, in Arizona) spent over an hour and a half on the day getting us alternative accommodation.”

“We loved our stay here! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our dog received an incredible welcome, including her own bed, bowls and hamper full of snacks! The room was spotlessly clean, a good size, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The vegan breakfast was great and we had a drink in the evening, enjoying an expertly made cocktail. The hotel is in walking distance of Burghley House and grounds (accessible via the hotel's garden) and has plenty of parking for……
