“Had a fantastic time at villa sol. The villa is clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The pool is great and the area around it is lovely and there's plenty of shady spots to sit. The town has some nice restaurants and taxis are easy to get but a car is useful for getting around. ”

“We hired the villa for 19 of us boys! The Villa was perfect for what we wanted. The tennis court/football pitch was good fun having such a large group. The pool was great to keep us cool and chill by. The rooms were all a good size and clean! Couldn't fault our stay. We opted for the private chefs to cook us breakfast and a bbq one evening. Food was really good quality, tasty and substantial! We left every meal with full stomachs!Paulo the host was amazing. Very speedy replies and dealt with……

“We enjoyed the property, but be prepared for lots of stairs. The property is well maintained but it is a tall and narrow building. Great views of the ocean. I think we had at least three days of green flashes! One very big drawback is that for some reason there are notices in every bathroom to NOT flush toilet paper. For someone not used to that, well... The Host should state that in the description, and honestly I don't know why this is an issue there I don't believe it is on a septic……

“We had a lovely week at this villa. The surroundings were beautiful with an amazing view. The house was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. There is air con in all the bedrooms which works very well. The pool is big, and surrounded but sun loungers and an attractive garden. It is about 45 minute drive to Lisbon, so very handy for the tourist sites there. And it is about 20 minutes from some lovely beaches. Vasco the host was very helpful, and easy to contact for any……

“We loved the home and the Host, Ricardo and his son Antonio were available at any time. We checked into the house at 10.30pm and Antonio was there to show us around and point out everything about the home.There was 7 adults and we had more than enough space.we loved the garden and the pool and had breakfast and evening cocktails out there every day. “We chose the Barca Charm House for its location, family friendliness and wonderful reviews. Each review referred to the hospitality of our hosts and I have to agree with previous reviewers, Sandra and Eduardo were exceptional. The house is comfortable and fully equipped. There was everything you could possibly need and so much more. The only item we were unable to bring with us was a potty for our 2 year old.
