“Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. “We had a good time here, but there are things that could use improvement. There was a snowstorm the day we were set to arrive and we were not sure if we were going to be able to get to the property. I got a text from the owner of the house the day of check in asking if we had a 4WD vehicle as the road goes unplowed usually. Luckily, we had AWD and snow tires so we were okay. I wish we would have had been notified sooner of the lack of phone service, lack of plowing, and also the fact that there……

“Beautiful place, cozy cabins, really enjoyed our trip. Maybe some new mattresses, it was a little uncomfortable. Ate at restaurant, supposed to be St. Patrick's Day party. Staff was completely overwhelmed. Well over an hour to get wings and a pizza. Garlic parm wings were really good! Pizza just ok. Party was not happening, so some customers who appeared to be regulars got karaoke started. Overall, we had a great time! Definitely interested in coming back forva friends trip. Probably will……
