“We had a fantastic stay at The Wadham. The B&B is perfectly located in Weymouth just steps away from the bustling Harbour and restaurants/pubs, and a minutes walk from the main shops & esplanade. Ian & Tracie made us very welcome, they helped us with parking with a Residents Permit, and Tracie even came us in the car to help us find a parking space. The rooms are great, with everything you need. Breakfast is 'as required', but as you are are mere steps away from a brilliant cafe choice it makes……

“The hotel was welcoming and the room was spacious, and comfortable, if a little stuffy. It was at the top of the building and the windows would only open a little. The room would have been less stuffy had the windows been opened before we arrived, and the blinds drawn. It was clean, and the linen was all good. All in all, a pleasant stay.”

“The Shepherds hut was just perfect for a relaxing stay, lots of little thoughtful touches such as home made bread, jam and granola. Very peaceful setting, beautiful garden, welcoming hosts. We loved our stay.”

“The Smugglers Inn was delightful. The staff were all extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was excellent, we had dinner there which was really good (advise booking it was full when we were there), and breakfast was great. Delicious choice of different fresh croissants, and fruit and cereal options. Full menu with lots to choose from for cooked breakfast, we had the full english which was scrummy and filling. Room was really nicely decorated, and everything you needed. Big……

“We simply loved the Dower House Hotel. Everything, the warm welcome from the hosts, the lovely grounds, excellent room and traditional breakfast was exactly what we would want from a break away.”

“Lovely country pub with loads of character. Located in a small village, in an isolated, quiet location. Warm welcome from the Land Lady and Scrappy Do. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights, room clean and comfortable with tea/coffe and TV. Free wifi, useful as there was no phone signal. Ate at the pub both nights, tasty, reasonably priced food. Recomend the Venison pie with a glass of red. Overall, an excellent stay, definately recommend. Will be staying again when back in the area.”

“The room was spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was spotless with a deep bath, shower, and plenty of hot water. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Having an area outside with our own garden table and chairs was great. Would certainly stay again. ”

“Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The building is very old with a lot of history. The rooms are clean and comfortable but as it’s a very old building the bedroom floors was very squeaky but this was the only negative I have about my stay here. ”
