“It’s close to the convention center making it easy to come and go. It was easy to find with the clear directions. The gate to enter does get stuck a bit. The porch light wasn’t on but our cell phone flashlight worked just fine accessing the key. It was a tad stuffy when we walked in but there there was a box fan and ceiling fan accessible making it quite nice. The bottom bunk was very comfortable. The top bunk mattress could be better. My daughter graciously took the top. It sinks in the middle.……

“We just finished our 4-day stay by this house.Absolutely spectacular place with lots of stuff to do.Kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and way more.The house was perfect, everything was clean and tidy, very welcoming.Can not recommend more.Thanks for having us.”

“House was beautiful and had so much character. Plenty of space for our family staying together to hang out (3 adults 2 kids). Spacious, clean and had a driveway that fit both cars. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Felt safe in the home and kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast everyday (plenty of silverware, plates, pans etc). Property owner was extremely responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Close to a street car……

“I do not care to communicate through VRBO app. Pain in the Ass. The address of a property should be easy to find when advertising. Like pop right up on the pictures. To search for communication and address location should be the two easiest aspects of a rental. I meant Alex and his Son personally. Very nice people. I enjoy the simplicity of the guest house. Accommodating with out all the fanciness. The only complaint is WiFi was not working 5/3/25 AM. Would certainly stay again.Mark V. Holmes”

“We used this house like it was our own home. We cooked everyday hangout in the living room and used the back yard. We parked the truck in the garage. We really didn't use the projector to watch any television but a nice feature. The bed was firm maybe too firm for most. But that depends on you. ”

“The best vacation rental I've ever stayed at! Our family had a lovely stay. The host allowed us to check in early and was very communicative. The home was immaculate, well-appointed, very comfortable. Our toddler had a great time running around in the giant fenced in garden. Location was also convenient and walkable to some local attractions. Would definitely stay again.”

“Pros: Good location with great view, plenty of space. Warm hostess and responsive. Cons: Furnishings are not updated. Weak WiFi due to remote location. Coffee maker not working.”
