“Quite a self-contained stay. I received instructions as to how to get to my room which was in the adjoining building to the pub. It was a lovely deluxe room with plenty of space allowing me to get some admin work done beflore relaxing. They had a fridge with plenty of items to choose from for the continental breakfast. “Pros: the owner is very accommodating, we arrived pretty late yet he is still happily wait for us and show us around the property. The property itself is very charming with old exposed brick and country furniture but with a twist of modern appliances making my stay as comfortable and homey. “Lovely hotel, comfy room and good food! Nice garden for the dog also. My only comment is that we were unable to tip the restaurant staff on the card machine as tips are cash only. Very few people carry cash these days and tips can make up a reasonable component of service staffs pay. I implore management to change this. ”
