“Great quiet spot for the rugby weekend, train station close by although the lack of a footpath makes it a longer walk. Staff were nice and the place is clean and tidy, couldn’t ask for more.”

Only downside was the deco , really needs carpets or laminate flooring , been a long time since I have stayed in a hotel with carpet in bathroom . Stayed 2 nights , both mornings got woke up 5 am with the linen truck outside my window .”

“The room was comfortable but for what we paid, and I understand that the prices were bumped up for the rugby, there were long, dark hairs on the bathroom tiles and at the end of the bath, no shelf to put bottles on in the shower and the loo leaked. The fan in the room is covered in dust on the blade and the casing. Breakfast was great but the two young waitresses maybe need to keep the chatting to a minimum when guests can overhear ”

“Lovely property. I did t use any spa services so can’t comment on that feature. My room smelled a bit stall but open windows for a couple hours cured that. Hand shower wasn’t ideal and toilet required perseverance for a proper flush. Bar and restaurant staff were absolutely amazing with their professional conduct and friendliness. Breakfast was awesome. ”
