“This is a lovely hotel in a rural setting but relatively close (around 10min) to the M4. Driving up the narrow lane to the hotel set the mood for me, quiet and tranquil. The staff throughout the stay were friendly and accomodating. This was a business trip and we hosted a business dinner at the restaurant. The service was very good as was the food. Again the entire approach was very relaxed which allowed for a great evening. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Even though……

“My recent stay was extremely disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shower head was broken, which made bathing an unpleasant experience. The room itself was dusty and had a bad smell, compounded by the constant noise from the surroundings. “Great property, very clean, very well-kept, good service! Reserving breakfast was a bit restricting as you can only book it the day before, before 10pm for the discounted price. One suggestion would be to give the flexibility of booking it alongside the initial room reservation”
