“I was here for my birthday celebration. It was not the experience I was expected. We get a complaint letter from the hotel because I was calling my family on the balcony at 10:00 pm with regular voice. “Jessica and Ruben are great people and hosts. As others have written, Ruben's breakfasts are hard to beat, even in 5-star hotels! The property's proximity to the south entrance to El Yunque is a primary reason we selected it. Anyone considering staying here should understand that the accommodations are stylish but basic. “We stayed for 4 nights here and overall the stay was pleasant. The hosts were communicative and gave very clear instructions on check-in/check-out. The apartment had 2 bedrooms 2 baths and came with a washer/ dryer which was a huge plus. It is a quiet neighborhood. Everything was functional. They left books for reading, card games, plenty of towels and toiletries. My one and only complaint was there were ants in the kitchen and in one of the bathrooms.
