“We stayed for 2 nights. On arrival, the reception staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We went to our room which was a king-size sea view. The view is even better than any picture will have you believe. Breathtaking. Loved having a little balcony with comfortable chairs and just enjoying the view and silence. The room was spotless. “On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. ”

“Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. ”

“The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great.”

“From check in to check out I’ve no complaints, staff easy to deal with amd so friendly, nice comfortable bed and hot shower what more do you need. I also left an article of clothing so phoned up the next day and the staff posted it back to me, fantastic service. Room was spotless and the housekeeping was perfect. ”

“I had an excellent stay at the Failte Guesthouse. My room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice. “Ett äldre mysigt litet hotell. Vi hade tur som fick ett rum på 3:e våningen för det finns ingen hiss. Litet rum men rent och mycket skön säng. Toppen med badkar som vi passade på att nyttja. Vi åt frukost sista morgonen och den var god och väl tilltagen, dock ganska dyr. Ägaren jätterar och charmig och serviceminded. Läget perfekt. Vi saknade fri Wi-Fi men ett ställe nära (LuLu) hade bra uppkoppling så en drink och lite surfing blev bra.”
