“The location is top notch. The rooms can use some updating. While the restaurant is convenient the menu could be expanded with more choices beyond pub grub. If you're looking for a place to kick back with spectacular views this is it.”

“My 12 year old son and I stayed here as part of a trip to Lake Placid. So quiet and peaceful, while being so convenient to restaurants and shopping in Saranac Lake. Very clean, and the caretaker could not have been nicer. Would absolutely stay here again! ”

“Better than a typical hotel stay. We loved the free amenities (bicycles, sauna, smores kit). Our favorite part might have been the "backyard" portion of the property. It was perfect for a morning walk. Everything is well taken care of. Our only complaint is the lack of a microwave. ”

“What a wonderful trip, first timers to the Adirondack's and it was AMAZINGLY AWESOME. Saranac Lake is a laid back fun little village. You have the faster past in Lake Placid which was a short scenic drive. We rode our bikes along the Rail Trail, shopped in both towns, very good restaurants - had barbeque and the BEST Brussel Sprouts at Smoke Signals in Lake Placid.”

“It was off season which may account for it being so quiet. The use of bikes, canoe, kayaks complete with life jackets all at your fingertips at no cost when ever you needed it, was great. And you are right on the lake!!! Manager and staff were very friendly.”
