“The Sliver Sands was a great place to stay. I had other family members on LBK so we would sleep and shower in our room and then spend the day with family. I would only like to see a lighted sign out front. I drove by the property several evenings because the Silver Sands sign wasn't visible at night. ”

“If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is your place. Located right on the beach. Beautiful heated pool. Everything I needed for my 4 night stay. I took a 3 mile drive to Coquina beach and took the free ferry out to the pier. Sarasota is a short drive south and there were lots of cute shops. Great place, I would definitely return.”

“The property is fantastic if you're looking to stay directly on the beach, and it's very well-equipped for making your own meals. The only downside is that while staying at the Longboat Key Club, you are permitted to use the pool and beach but cannot purchase food or drinks on-site. This was stated in the listing, so it wasn’t a surprise, but I do think there should be a workaround. For example, if you're at the pool and want to order a beverage, you cannot charge it to your room or pay by……
